Shannon, a Dutch national, focused mostly on AI, innovation and the Dutch political ecosystem.
Prior to joining AK Public Affairs, she worked extensively on emerging technologies as a Senior Policy Officer for international and EU digital affairs at the Dutch Ministry for Infrastructure and Water, where she focused in particular on innovation in areas such as autonomous driving. She also brings in-depth knowledge of the Dutch political landscape through her experience at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. She also has experience on tech policy from working at a Brussels-based public affairs consultancy.
She holds a Master of Laws in European Law and Market Integration and a Masters in European Public Affairs from Maastricht University.
